11  Senator Forman moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 7, lines 10-22, delete section 8

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 8.  LeRoy Collins Turnpike designated;

18  Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--

19         (1)  The Florida Turnpike consisting of the 312

20  contiguous miles of limited-access toll highway stretching

21  from Florida City, where South Dade County meets the Florida

22  Keys, continuing northward through 11 counties, including the

23  greater metropolitan areas of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West

24  Palm Beach, and Orlando, and ending at a junction with

25  Interstate 75 in North Central Florida is hereby designated as

26  the "LeRoy Collins Turnpike."

27         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

28  erect suitable markers designating the "LeRoy Collins

29  Turnpike" as described in subsection (1).
