14 On page 1, line 29 through page 2, line 5, delete those
15 lines

17 and insert: statewide public education program on stroke
18 prevention, targeted to high-risk populations and to
19 geographic areas where there is a high incidence of stroke,
20 that includes information on:
21 1. Healthy lifestyle practices that reduce the risk of
22 stroke.
23 2. Information on the signs and symptoms of stroke and
24 the action to be taken when these signs occur.
25 3. The determinants of high-quality health care for
26 stroke.
27 4. Other information that the council deems
28 appropriate to include in a public education program.
29 (b) Adopting and disseminating to primary care
30 physicians practice guidelines that address appropriate
31 screening guidelines, the risk factors for stroke, and the
