  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to environmental control;

  3         repealing s. 403.708(10)(b), F.S., relating to

  4         the prohibition on the sale of certain

  5         biodegradable products used in conjunction with

  6         food for human consumption; providing an

  7         effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (10) of section

12  403.708, Florida Statutes, is hereby repealed.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.

      Repeals a provision of law prohibiting persons from
19    distributing, selling, or offering for sale any
      polystyrene foam or plastic-coated paper product which is
20    to be used in conjunction with food for human consumption
      unless such product is composed of material which is
21    degradable within 12 months or less.
