  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to natural resource management;

  3         amending s. 370.021, F.S.; redesignating the

  4         Division of Administration of the Department of

  5         Environmental Protection as the Division of

  6         Administrative and Technical Services;

  7         providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10

11         Section 1.  Subsection (4) of section 370.021, Florida

12  Statutes, is amended to read:

13         370.021  Administration; rules, publications, records;

14  penalty for violation of chapter; injunctions.--

15         (4)  PUBLICATIONS BY DEPARTMENT.--The department

16  through the Division of Administrative and Technical Services

17  Administration is given authority, from time to time in its

18  discretion, to cause the statutory laws under its

19  jurisdiction, together with any rules and regulations adopted

20  promulgated by it, to be published in pamphlet form for free

21  distribution in this state.  The department may charge is

22  authorized to make charges for technical and educational

23  publications and mimeographed material of use for educational

24  or reference purposes.  Such charges shall be made at the

25  discretion of the Division of Administrative and Technical

26  Services Administration.  Such charges may be sufficient to

27  cover cost of preparation, printing, publishing, and

28  distribution. All moneys received for publications shall be

29  deposited into the fund from which the cost of the publication

30  was paid.  The department is further authorized to enter into

31  agreements with persons, firms, corporations, governmental

  1  agencies, and other institutions whereby publications may be

  2  exchanged reciprocally in lieu of payments for said

  3  publications.

  4         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

  5  law.
