14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 1, between lines 16 and 17,

17  insert:

18         Section 5.  Subsection (4) is added to section

19  627.4133, Florida Statutes, to read:

20         627.4133  Notice of cancellation, nonrenewal, or

21  renewal premium.--

22         (4)  With respect to any personal lines residential

23  property insurance policy, if the insured property is sold and

24  a replacement property is purchased by the named insured

25  within 6 months after the closing of the sale of the insured

26  property, the insurer providing the property insurance

27  coverage on the insured property sold shall offer coverage for

28  such replacement property if the replacement property is of a

29  type for which the insurer has approved rates and forms and

30  does not represent a substantial change in risk covered by the

31  insurer.
