13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 62, between lines 21 and 22, of the bill

16  insert:

17         Section 49.  Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section

18  110.209, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

19         110.209  Pay plan.--

20         (2)

21         (c)  The department shall establish, by rule,

22  guidelines with respect to, and shall delegate to the

23  employing agencies the authority to administer, the following:

24         1.  Shift differentials.

25         2.  On-call fees.

26         3.  Hazardous-duty pay.

27         4.  Advanced appointment rates.

28         5.  Salary increase and decrease corrections.

29         6.  Lead worker pay.

30         7.  Temporary special duties pay.

31         8.  Trainer additive pay.

 4  The employing agency must use such pay additives as are

 5  appropriate within the guidelines established by the

 6  department and shall advise the department in writing of the

 7  plan for implementing such pay additives prior to the

 8  implementation date. The department may make recommendations

 9  to the Executive Office of the Governor for approval of

10  competitive area differentials, and the Executive Office of

11  the Governor may approve competitive area differentials

12  subject to the notice and review provisions of s. 216.177.
