17 Section 3. Section 110.1092, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 110.1092 Telephone voice mail systems and telephone
20 menu options systems.--
21 (1) No state employee shall utilize a voice mail
22 system when the employee is at his or her regularly assigned
23 work station where his or her telephone is functional and
24 available for use, unless such voice mail system alerts the
25 caller to, and provides the caller with access to a
26 nonelectronic attendant, or automatically transfers the caller
27 to a nonelectronic attendant.
28 (2) Telephone menu options systems used by state
29 agencies, departments, or other state government units, will
30 alert the caller to, and provide the caller with access to a
31 nonelectronic attendant.
