  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to public funds; providing

  3         legislative intent to adopt guidelines for the

  4         use of tobacco lawsuit settlement moneys;

  5         providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  adopt guidelines for the use of moneys received by the state

11  as a result of its settlement of its lawsuit against the

12  tobacco industry.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
