  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to state property; transferring

  3         certain described property from the state to

  4         Palm Beach County; providing an effective date.

  5

  6         WHEREAS, the air quality and building conditions in the

  7  existing offices of the West Palm Beach regional office of the

  8  Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission are dangerous to

  9  employees and the public, and

10         WHEREAS, several buildings on the aforementioned

11  property have been condemned, and

12         WHEREAS, the cost of removing and replacing buildings

13  at this site is beyond the means of the State of Florida, NOW,

14  THEREFORE,

16  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

18         Section 1.  The property located at 551 N. Military

19  Trail in West Palm Beach is transferred from the ownership of

20  the State of Florida to the County of Palm Beach.

21         Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 1998.
