1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the City of
3 Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Broward County;
4 extending and enlarging the corporate limits of
5 the City of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to include
6 specified unincorporated lands within said
7 corporate limits; providing an effective date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11 Section 1. The present corporate limits of the City of
12 Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Broward County, are hereby extended and
13 enlarged so as to include, in addition to the territory
14 presently within its corporate limits, the following property:

16 A parcel of land in Section 7 of Township 49
17 South, Range 43 East, being more particularly
18 described as follows:

20 BEGINNING at the intersection of the South line
21 of said Section 7, Township 49 South, Range 43
22 East, and the Westerly right-of-way line of
23 Florida State Road A-1-A;

25 THENCE Northerly along the said right-of-way
26 line of Florida State Road A-1-A to the
27 intersection of the South line of the N.W. 1/4
28 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section 7, Township 49
29 South, Range 43 East;

1 THENCE North 180 feet to a line that is
2 parallel with the South line of said Northwest
3 One-Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast
4 One-Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 7;

6 THENCE Easterly along said parallel line to the
7 shore line of the Atlantic Ocean;
8
9 THENCE Southerly along the said shore line of
10 the Atlantic Ocean to a point of intersection
11 of the shore line of the Atlantic Ocean and the
12 South line Section 7, Township 49 South, Range
13 43 East,

15 THENCE Westerly along said section line to the
16 POINT OF BEGINNING.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming
18 law.
