  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to environmental protection;

  3         permitting the possession, use, manufacture,

  4         purchase, installation, transportation, or sale

  5         of chlorofluorocarbons in the state; providing

  6         an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Chlorofluorocarbons; permitted use;

11  retaliation prohibited.--

12         (1)  Any other provision of law to the contrary

13  notwithstanding, a person may possess, use, manufacture,

14  purchase, install, transport, or sell chlorofluorocarbons.

15         (2)  The possession, use, manufacture, purchase,

16  installation, transportation, or sale of chlorofluorocarbons

17  does not subject any person, this state, or any political

18  subdivision of this state to any penalty, fine, retaliatory

19  action, or other punitive measure.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.
