14 On page 12, between lines 5 and 6,

16 insert:
17 Section 8. Subsection (2) of section 627.6415, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 627.6415 Coverage for natural-born, adopted, and
20 foster children; children in insured's custodial care.--
21 (2) A policy may require the insured to notify the
22 insurer of the birth or placement of an adopted child within a
23 specified time period of not less than 30 days after the birth
24 or placement in the residence of a child adopted by the
25 insured. If timely notice is given, the insurer may not
26 charge an additional premium for coverage of the child for the
27 notice period. If timely notice is not given, the insurer may
28 charge an additional premium from the date of birth or
29 placement. If notice is given within 60 days of the birth of
30 the child, the insurer may not deny coverage for the child due
31 to the failure of the insured to timely notify the insurer of
