15         On page 4, line 19, after the period,

17  insert:  Because children with disabilities may not be able to

18  meet all of the identified expectations for school readiness,

19  the plan for measuring school readiness shall incorporate

20  mechanisms for recognizing the potential variations in

21  expectations for school readiness when serving children with

22  disabilities and shall provide for communities to serve

23  children with disabilities.
