HB 1829, First Engrossed 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to implementing the fiscal year 3 1997-1998 General Appropriations Act in the 4 area of transportation and economic 5 development; providing legislative intent; 6 amending s. 15.09, F.S.; authorizing the 7 appropriation of funds from the Public Access 8 Data Systems Trust Fund for the operations of 9 the Department of State; amending s. 338.251, 10 F.S.; authorizing a loan to the St. Lucie 11 County Expressway Authority; providing for 12 future repeal; providing an effective date. 13 14 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 15 16 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature that 17 the implementing and administering provisions of this act 18 apply to the fiscal year 1997-1998 General Appropriations Act 19 in the area of transportation and economic development. 20 Section 2. In order to implement Specific 21 Appropriations 2050 through 2134 of the 1997-1998 General 22 Appropriations Act, paragraph (b) of subsection (5) of section 23 15.09, Florida Statutes, 1996 Supplement, is amended to read: 24 15.09 Fees.-- 25 (5) 26 (b) For the 1997-1998 1996-1997 fiscal year only, 27 funds from the Public Access Data Systems Trust Fund may be 28 appropriated for the operations of the department. This 29 paragraph is repealed on July 1, 1998 1997. 30 Section 3. This paragraph is 7 repealed on July 1, 1998 1997. 8 Section 4.
