  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating within

  3         the Community Development Trust Fund a separate

  4         urban development account for each community

  5         redevelopment area containing either a type I

  6         or a type II urban development project;

  7         providing for the deposit of specified funds

  8         into such accounts; providing a contingent

  9         effective date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

13         Section 1.  There is created within the Community

14  Development Trust Fund a separate urban development account

15  for each community redevelopment area containing either a type

16  I or a type II urban development project. That portion of the

17  proceeds collected within a community redevelopment area from

18  an urban development project must be deposited into the

19  appropriate urban development account. Funds received by the

20  community redevelopment area under section 212.20(6)(f)5.d.,

21  Florida Statutes, and other funds available for the urban

22  development program created by HB      must also be deposited

23  into the appropriate urban development account created under

24  this section.

25         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1997,

26  but shall not take effect unless it is passed by a

27  three-fifths vote of the membership of each house of the

28  Legislature.
