14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 1, lines 16-21, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  aggregate, $100,000 annually, up to a total

18  aggregate or $250,000. Beginning January 1, 1998, for any

19  claim approved by the board which is in excess of the annual

20  cap, the amount in excess of $100,000 up to the total

21  aggregate cap of $250,000 is eligible for payment in the next

22  and succeeding fiscal years, but only after all claims for the

23  then current calendar year have been paid. Payments may not

24  exceed the aggregate annual or per-claimant limits under law.
