  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Gilchrist County; allowing

  3         the establishment of a capital fund for the

  4         construction, expansion, improvement,

  5         equipping, furnishing, and initial-year

  6         operation of a County Law Enforcement Complex,

  7         including a county detention/corrections

  8         facility, to be funded from the Gilchrist

  9         County Law Enforcement Trust Fund, state

10         forfeitures, supplemented by federal forfeiture

11         funds, both of which contain proceeds from the

12         sale of certain contraband; providing an

13         effective date.

15  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

17         Section 1.  The funds deposited in the special Law

18  Enforcement Trust Fund established by the Board of County

19  Commissioners of Gilchrist County pursuant to s. 932.7055,

20  Florida Statutes, may be expended, in accordance with the

21  procedures prescribed in said section, to fund a capital

22  account for ultimate distribution for the construction,

23  expansion, improvement, equipping, furnishing, and

24  initial-year operation of a County Law Enforcement Complex,

25  including a county detention/corrections facility,

26  supplemented by federal forfeiture funds.

27         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

28  law.
