1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the
3 Armory Board Trust Fund without modification;
4 re-creating the Armory Board Trust Fund;
5 carrying forward current balances and
6 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
7 providing an effective date.

9 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
10 the Armory Board Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to
11 be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
12 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Armory Board
13 Trust Fund before its scheduled termination date and has found
14 that it continues to meet an important public purpose, and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
16 policy concerning the Armory Board Trust Fund sets adequate
17 parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

19 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
20
21 Section 1. The Armory Board Trust Fund, which was
22 created within the Department of Military Affairs and which is
23 to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the
24 State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is hereby re-created.
25 Section 2. All current balances of the Armory Board
26 Trust Fund are carried forward, and all current sources and
27 uses of the trust fund are continued.
28 Section 3. This act shall take effect November 4,
29 2000.
