  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the

  3         Supervision Trust Fund without modification;

  4         re-creating the Supervision Trust Fund;

  5         carrying forward current balances and

  6         continuing current sources and uses thereof;

  7         providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

10  the Supervision Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled to be

11  terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

12         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Supervision

13  Trust Fund before its scheduled termination date and has found

14  that it continues to meet an important public purpose, and

15         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

16  policy concerning the Supervision Trust Fund sets adequate

17  parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

18

19  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

20

21         Section 1.  The Supervision Trust Fund, which was

22  created within the Department of Management Services and which

23  is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of

24  the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is hereby

25  re-created.

26         Section 2.  All current balances of the Supervision

27  Trust Fund are carried forward, and all current sources and

28  uses of the trust fund are continued.

29         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

30  2000.
