11  Senator Gutman moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 
14         On page 3, line 11, through page 4, line 2 delete those
15  lines
16
17  and insert:  1989, he or she graduated from a school of
18  veterinary medicine listed in the American Veterinary Medical
19  Association Roster of Colleges of the World; and
20         3.  Successfully completed a course of 250 hours in
21  veterinary science offered on October 8, 1997, by the Cuban
22  Veterinary Medical Association in Exile, in conjunction with
23  the Florida International Medical Association and Dade County
24  public schools, which included a competency-based examination
25  and the granting of licenses to persons passing the
26  examination. The Cuban Veterinary Medical Association in Exile
27  must submit to the board a certified list of applicants who
28  have successfully completed the course; or
29         (c)1.  The applicant demonstrates to the board that,
30  prior to October 1, 1989, he or she graduated from a school of
31  veterinary medicine listed in the American Veterinary Medical

 4         3.  Successfully completed a course of 250 hours in
