14 On page 18, between lines 12 and 13,

16 insert:
17 Section 13. Subsection (9) is added to section
18 489.537, Florida Statutes, to read:
19 489.537 Application of this part.--
20 (9) Persons licensed under this part are subject to
21 ss. 205.0535(1) and 205.065, as applicable.
22 Section 14. Subsection (1) of section 205.0535,
23 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
24 205.0535 Reclassification and rate structure
25 revisions.--
26 (1) By October 1, 1995, any municipality or county
27 may, by ordinance, reclassify businesses, professions, and
28 occupations and may establish new rate structures, if the
29 conditions specified in subsections (2) and (3) are met. A
30 person who is engaged in the business of providing local
31 exchange telephone service or a pay telephone service in a

1 municipality or in the unincorporated area of a county and who
2 pays the occupational license tax under the category
3 designated for telephone companies or a pay telephone service
4 provider certified pursuant to s. 364.3375 is deemed to have
5 but one place of business or business location in each
6 municipality or unincorporated area of a county and may not be
7 assessed an occupational license tax on a per-instrument
8 basis.
