  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the

  3         Lifetime Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund without

  4         modification; re-creating the Lifetime Fish and

  5         Wildlife Trust Fund; carrying forward current

  6         balances and continuing current sources and

  7         uses thereof; providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

10  the Lifetime Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund, which is otherwise

11  scheduled to be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate,

12  and

13         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Lifetime Fish

14  and Wildlife Trust Fund before its scheduled termination date

15  and has found that it continues to meet an important public

16  purpose, and

17         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

18  policy concerning the Lifetime Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund

19  sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

20

21  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

22

23         Section 1.  The Lifetime Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund

24  within the Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission, which was

25  created by section 372.105, Florida Statutes, and which is to

26  be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the

27  State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.

28         Section 2.  All current balances of the Lifetime Fish

29  and Wildlife Trust Fund are carried forward, and all current

30  sources and uses of the trust fund are continued.

  1         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

  2  2000.

  6    Re-create, without modification, the Lifetime Fish and
