  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to petroleum pipelines;

  3         prohibiting location or construction of

  4         petroleum pipelines in certain areas; providing

  5         an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law,

10  any pipeline designed to transport any petroleum product shall

11  not be located or constructed over any portion of this state

12  on which is located a shallow water aquifer or a watershed

13  which is used, or is potentially usable, to provide water for

14  a public water supply system.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
