14 On page 187, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert:
17 Section 242. Licensure of certain foreign-trained
18 pharmacists.--Notwithstanding section 465.007(1)(b)2., Florida
19 Statutes, a graduate of a 4-year undergraduate pharmacy
20 program of a school or college of pharmacy located outside the
21 United States, who has been a resident of this state for a
22 continuous period of at least 1 year as of January 1, 1992,
23 and has submitted proof to the agency that he has practiced
24 pharmacy in his country of origin for at least 1 year or has
25 been employed as a pharmacy technician in a permitted pharmacy
26 in this state, is eligible, upon the filing of the application
27 and payment of the fees required by section 465.007(1)(a),
28 Florida Statutes, to take the licensure examination. The
29 agency shall translate the examination into the native
30 language of any applicant who requests, and agrees to pay the
31 costs of, such translation. This section expires July 1, 1999.
