11  The Committee on Commerce and Economic Opportunities

12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 0, delete everything after the enacting clause

16

17  and insert:

18         Section 1.  The Division of Unemployment Compensation

19  shall study, with the consultation of the Unemployment

20  Compensation Advisory Council established in section

21  443.171(5), Florida Statutes, the effect on employer

22  contribution rates if an alternative base period is adopted.

23  The division shall issue a report to the Legislature by

24  December 31, 1997.
