13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 3, line 1, after the words "school district,"

16  insert:  who is certified by the district to have demonstrated

17  satisfactory teaching performance pursuant to s. 231.29 and,

18  beginning in the school fiscal year 1999-2000, to have

19  qualified for the district performance-based pay incentive

20  pursuant to s. 230.23,
