14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 6, between lines 28 and 29,

17  insert:

18         (10)  Unless otherwise extended, the levy of a 1-cent

19  tax under paragraph (1)(b) to address the needs of homeless

20  persons and the use of such tax proceeds pursuant to

21  subsection (9) shall expire on September 30, 2005.
