  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating the

  3         Work and Gain Economic Self-sufficiency (WAGES)

  4         Trust Fund for the deposit of federal funds

  5         that support the WAGES Program; providing for

  6         future review and termination or re-creation of

  7         the trust fund; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  (1)  The Temporary Assistance for Needy

12  Families Trust Fund is created for the deposit of all federal

13  funds that support the WAGES Program, established under

14  chapter 414, Florida Statutes.

15         (2)  Pursuant to Section 19(f)(2), Article III of the

16  State Constitution, the trust fund shall, unless terminated

17  sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2002. Prior to its scheduled

18  termination, the trust fund shall be reviewed as provided in

19  section 215.3206(1) and (2), Florida Statutes.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1999.
