1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle Protection
4 Trust Fund within the Department of Highway
5 Safety and Motor Vehicles without modification;
6 carrying forward current balances and
7 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
8 providing an effective date.

10 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
11 the Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle Protection Trust Fund
12 within the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles,
13 which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to
14 constitutional mandate, and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Mobile Home
16 and Recreational Vehicle Protection Trust Fund within the
17 Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles before its
18 scheduled termination date and has found that it continues to
19 meet an important public purpose, and
20 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
21 policy concerning the Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle
22 Protection Trust Fund within the Department of Highway Safety
23 and Motor Vehicles sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,
24 THEREFORE,

26 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

28 Section 1. The Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle
29 Protection Trust Fund within the Department of Highway Safety
30 and Motor Vehicles, SAMAS number 762463, which was created by
31 section 320.781, Florida Statutes, and which is to be

1 terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State
2 Constitution on November 4, 2000, is re-created.
3 Section 2. All current balances of the Mobile Home and
4 Recreational Vehicle Protection Trust Fund within the
5 Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles are carried
6 forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund
7 are continued.
8 Section 3. This act shall take effect November 4,
9 2000.
