  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the

  3         Revolving Escrow Trust Fund without

  4         modification; re-creating the Revolving Escrow

  5         Trust Fund; carrying forward current balances

  6         and continuing current sources and uses;

  7         providing an effective date.

  8

  9         WHEREAS, the Legislature desires to extend the life of

10  the Revolving Escrow Trust Fund, which is otherwise scheduled

11  to be terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and

12         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Revolving

13  Escrow Trust Fund prior to its scheduled termination date and

14  has determined that it continues to meet an important public

15  purpose, and

16         WHEREAS, the Legislature has determined that existing

17  public policy concerning the Revolving Escrow Trust Fund sets

18  adequate parameters for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

19

20  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

21

22         Section 1.  The Revolving Escrow Trust Fund within the

23  Department of Legal Affairs, which was created by section

24  944.512, Florida Statutes, and which is to be terminated

25  pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State

26  Constitution on November 4, 2000, is hereby re-created.

27         Section 2.  All current balances of the Revolving

28  Escrow Trust Fund are hereby carried forward and all current

29  sources and uses of the trust fund are hereby continued.

30         Section 3.  This act shall take effect November 4,

31  2000.
