1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the re-creation of the Sales
3 of Goods and Services Clearing Trust Fund
4 without modification; re-creating the Sale of
5 Goods and Services Clearing Trust Fund;
6 carrying forward current balances and
7 continuing current sources and uses thereof;
8 providing an effective date.

10 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
11 the Sale of Goods and Services Clearing Trust Fund, which is
12 otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to
13 constitutional mandate, and
14 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Sale of Goods
15 and Services Clearing Trust Fund before its scheduled
16 termination date and has found that it continues to meet an
17 important public purpose, and
18 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
19 policy concerning the Sale of Goods and Services Clearing
20 Trust Fund sets adequate parameters for its use, NOW,
21 THEREFORE,

23 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

25 Section 1. The Sale of Goods and Services Clearing
26 Trust Fund, which was created within the Department of
27 Corrections and which is to be terminated pursuant to Section
28 19(f), Article III of the State Constitution on November 4,
29 2000, is hereby re-created.

1 Section 2. All current balances of the Sale of Goods
2 and Services Clearing Trust Fund are carried forward, and all
3 current sources and uses of the trust fund are continued.
4 Section 3. This act shall take effect November 4,
5 2000.

8 SENATE SUMMARY
9 Re-creates, without modification, the Sale of Goods and
Services Clearing Trust Fund within the Department of
10 Corrections and carries forward its current balances and
continues its current sources and uses.
