1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act re-creating the Administrative Trust
3 Fund within the Department of Juvenile Justice
4 without modification; carrying forward current
5 balances and continuing current sources and
6 uses; providing an effective date.

8 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
9 the Administrative Trust Fund within the Department of
10 Juvenile Justice, which is otherwise scheduled to be
11 terminated pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
12 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund
13 prior to its scheduled termination date and has found that it
14 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
15 WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that existing public
16 policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for
17 its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

19 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
20
21 Section 1. (1) The Administrative Trust Fund, which
22 was created within the Department of Juvenile Justice and
23 which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article
24 III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is
25 re-created.
26 (2) All current balances of the trust fund are carried
27 forward and all current sources and uses of the trust fund are
28 continued.
29 Section 2. This act shall take effect November 4,
30 2000.
