1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
3 Appellate Opinion Distribution Trust Fund
4 within the state courts system without
5 modification; carrying forward current balances
6 and continuing current sources and uses
7 thereof; providing an effective date.

9 WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of
10 the Appellate Opinion Distribution Trust Fund within the state
11 courts system, which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated
12 pursuant to constitutional mandate, and
13 WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Appellate
14 Opinion Distribution Trust Fund within the state courts system
15 before its scheduled termination date and has found that it
16 continues to meet an important public purpose, and
17 WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public
18 policy concerning the Appellate Opinion Distribution Trust
19 Fund within the state courts system sets adequate parameters
20 for its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

22 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

24 Section 1. The Appellate Opinion Distribution Trust
25 Fund within the state courts system, SAMAS number 222215,
26 which is to be terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article
27 III of the State Constitution on November 4, 2000, is
28 re-created.
29 Section 2. All current balances of the Appellate
30 Opinion Distribution Trust Fund within the state courts system

1 are carried forward, and all current sources and uses of the
2 trust fund are continued.
3 Section 3. This act shall take effect November 4,
4 2000.
