13         Amendment to Amendment (243299) 

14         On page 20, line 10,

16  after (2) insert:

17  A participant who is not exempt from work activity

18  requirements may earn 1 month of eligibility for extended

19  temporary cash assistance, up to maximum of 12 additional

20  months, for each month in which the participant is fully

21  complying with the work activities of the WAGES Program

22  through private sector employment. The period for which

23  extended temporary cash assistance is granted shall be based

24  upon compliance with WAGES Program requirements beginning

25  October 1, 1996. A participant may not receive temporary cash

26  assistance under this subsection, in combination with other

27  periods of temporary cash assistance for longer than a

28  lifetime limit of 48 months.
