14         On page 20, line 10,

16  after (2) insert:

17  A participant who is not exempt from work activity

18  requirements may earn 1 month of eligibility for extended

19  temporary cash assistance, up to maximum of 12 additional

20  months, for each month in which the participant is fully

21  complying with the work or work related activities of the

22  WAGES Program. The period for which extended temporary cash

23  assistance is granted shall be based upon compliance with

24  WAGES Program requirements beginning October 1, 1996. A

25  participant may not receive temporary cash assistance under

26  this subsection, in combination with other periods of

27  temporary cash assistance for longer than 48 months.
