  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to utility services; requiring

  3         a municipal utility company that provides a

  4         utility service in more than one county to

  5         refund any profit derived from that service to

  6         the utility customers; providing an effective

  7         date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  A municipal utility company that provides

12  any type of utility service in more than one county must

13  refund any profit from that utility service to the customers

14  of that service.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1998.
