  1                    Senate Resolution No.     

  2         A resolution commending the 351st Military

  3         Police Company from Ocala for their service in

  4         Bosnia.

  6         WHEREAS, the members of the 351st Military Police

  7  Company serve our country with courage and distinction, and

  8         WHEREAS, the Reserve and National Guard Forces of the

  9  United States comprise over 50 percent of this country's

10  military strength, and

11         WHEREAS, the 351st Military Police Company has served

12  our country with distinction in Operation Desert Shield and

13  Operation Desert Storm, and

14         WHEREAS, the members of the 351st Military Police

15  Company proudly fulfill the Military Police motto, "Of the

16  Troops, For the Troops, and By the Troops", and

17         WHEREAS, the 351st Military Police Company has brought

18  decades of honor and service to the Ocala community, and

19         WHEREAS, the 351st Military Police Company has been

20  called to active duty to share the principles, patriotism, and

21  freedoms of the United States with the citizens of Bosnia,

22  NOW, THEREFORE,

24  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

25

26         That the 351st Military Police Company is commended for

27  its service, commitment, and patriotism to the United States.

28         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution,

29  with the Seal of the Senate affixed, be presented to the 351st

30  Military Police Company as a tangible token of the sentiments

31  of the Florida Senate.
