14 On page 2, between lines 22 and 23,

16 insert:
17 Section 3. Paragraph (d) of subsection (3) of section
18 408.36, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 408.036 Projects subject to review.--
20 (3) EXEMPTIONS.--Upon request, supported by such
21 documentation as the agency requires, the agency shall grant
22 an exemption from the provisions of subsection (1):
23 (d) For hospice services or home health services
24 provided by a rural hospital, as defined in s. 395.602, or for
25 swing beds in such rural hospital in a number that does not
26 exceed one-half of its licensed beds.

28 A request for exemption under this subsection may be made at
29 any time and is not subject to the batching requirements of
30 this section.
