11  The Committee on Health Care recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 2, between lines 22 and 23,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 3.  Paragraph (d) of subsection (3) of section

19  408.36, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

20         408.036  Projects subject to review.--

21         (3)  EXEMPTIONS.--Upon request, supported by such

22  documentation as the agency requires, the agency shall grant

23  an exemption from the provisions of subsection (1):

24         (d)  For hospice services or home health services

25  provided by a rural hospital, as defined in s. 395.602, or for

26  swing beds in such rural hospital in a number that does not

27  exceed one-half of its licensed beds.

29  A request for exemption under this subsection may be made at

30  any time and is not subject to the batching requirements of

31  this section.
