13         Amendment to Senate Amendment (060454) (with title

14  amendment) 

15         On page 17, line 27, of the amendment

17  insert after the period:  For the purposes of this paragraph,

18  an attorney's fee paid, payable, or negotiated, may not exceed

19  an amount calculated in accordance with the lodestar process

20  approved by the Florida Supreme Court, which attorney's fee

21  shall be set by the determination of the number of hours

22  reasonably expended on the matter and the reasonable hourly

23  rate for the services provided by the private attorney.  In

24  contingent fee matters, the lodestar figure calculated may

25  include a contingency risk multiplier not greater than 2.
