  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Constitution Revision

  3         Commission; prescribing duties of the Joint

  4         Legislative Management Committee; providing an

  5         appropriation; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  The Joint Legislative Management Committee

10  is the fiscal officer for the Constitution Revision Commission

11  and shall provide the requisite support to the commission.

12         Section 2.  The sum of $200,000 is appropriated from

13  the General Revenue Fund to the Constitution Revision

14  Commission to compensate staff, procure commission equipment,

15  and pay per diem and travel expenses for commission members

16  and authorized staff.

17         Section 3.  Moneys appropriated to the Constitution

18  Revision Commission by this act and not expended by June 30,

19  1997, shall not revert to the General Revenue Fund, but those

20  moneys are reappropriated to the Constitution Revision

21  Commission for the 1997-1998 fiscal year.

22         Section 4.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

23  law.
