14 On page 3, between lines 13 & 14 of the bill

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Subsection (3) of section 812.15, F.S., is
18 amended to read:
19 812.15 Unauthorized reception of cable television
20 services; penalties.--
21 (3)(a) Any person who willfully violates this section
22 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree,
23 punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
24 (b) Any person who willfully and for purposes of
25 direct or indirect commercial advantage violates this section
26 shall be guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as
27 provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
28 (c) Any person who intentionally possesses equipment,
29 knowing or having reason to know that the design of such
30 equipment renders it primarily useful for the purpose of the
31 unauthorized reception of any communications service offered

1 over a cable system, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the
2 first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or 775.083.
3 (d) It is unlawful for any person to place in any
4 newspaper, magazine, handbill, or other publication any
5 advertisement that, in whole or in part, promotes the sale of
6 equipment, if the person placing the advertisement knows or
7 has reason to know that the equipment is designed to be
8 primarily useful for the unauthorized reception of any
9 communications service offered over a cable system. Any
10 person who violates this subsection shall be guilty of a
11 misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s.
12 775.082 or s. 775.083.

20 An act relating to offenses involving property
21 or equipment; amending s. 812.13, F.S.;
22 redefining the offense of robbery to include
23 robbery by sudden snatching; defining "sudden
24 snatching"; providing for reclassification of
25 the offense to a higher degree under specified
26 circumstances when the offender carried a
27 firearm or other deadly weapon; providing
28 penalties; amending s. 812.15, F.S.;
29 prohibiting the possession or advetisement for
30 sale of certain equipment designed and
31 primarily useful for unauthorized reception of
