13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 3, lines 18-23, delete those lines

16  and insert:

17         Section 2.  The Duval County School Board is authorized

18  and directed to appropriate and to pay Carrie A. Wilson the

19  amount of $1,000,000 reduced by $200,000 already paid by the

20  school board, to compensate them for injuries sustained by

21  Carrie A. Wilson due to the negligence of the school board.

22  The balance of $800,000 shall be paid in three equal annual

23  installments commencing 30 days after enactment.
