  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to road designations;

  3         designating a portion of State Road 528 in

  4         Brevard County as the "Kennedy Space Center

  5         Highway"; directing the Department of

  6         Transportation to erect suitable markers;

  7         providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  Kennedy Space Center Highway designated;

12  markers.--

13         (1)  That portion of State Road 528 from State Road 436

14  in Orange County east to State Road A1A in Brevard County is

15  hereby designated as the "Kennedy Space Center Highway."

16         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

17  erect suitable markers designating the "Kennedy Space Center

18  Highway" as described in subsection (1).

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

20  law.
