13         Amendment 

14         On page 4, line 27, of the bill,

16  after the word "handle" insert:  ; provided however, that if

17  the guest track is a thoroughbred track located more than 35

18  miles from the host track, the host track shall pay a tax of

19  .5 percent of the handle, and additionally the host track

20  shall pay to the guest track 1.9 percent of the handle to be

21  used by the guest track solely for purses
