  2         An act relating to the Board of Trustees of the

  3         Internal Improvement Trust Fund; directing the

  4         board to transfer certain properties to the

  5         Florida Atlantic University Foundation, Inc.,

  6         for the Pine Jog Environmental Education

  7         Center; providing restrictions on the use of

  8         the land; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11

12         Section 1.  The Board of Trustees of the Internal

13  Improvement Trust Fund shall transfer from the Internal

14  Improvement Trust Fund the following properties described as:

15

16         Lots 1, 2-6, 19, 22, 25-28 of the Pine Jog

17         Subdivision, according to the plat thereof

18         recorded in Plat Book 23, Page 245 of the

19         public records of Palm Beach County, Florida;

20         and

21

22         The West 200' of the Southeast 1/4 of the

23         Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section

24         3, Township 44 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach

25         County, Florida, less the South 268.11'

26         thereof;

27

28         TOGETHER WITH a 30' easement adjacent to the

29         Eastern Boundary line of the following

30         described property: The West 200' of the South

31         268.11' of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast

  1         1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township

  2         44 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County,

  3         Florida, less the right-of-way for Summit

  4         Boulevard, which easement shall provide ingress

  5         and egress as well as easement for utilities to

  6         serve the property being described herein

  7

  8  to Florida Alantic University Foundation, Inc., for the

  9  purpose of operating Pine Jog Environmental Education Center,

10  a unit of the College of Education of Florida Atlantic

11  University, for environmental education, for use as a wildlife

12  refuge and for such other public purposes as the Board of

13  Regents shall permit. Any activities conducted on the lands

14  must be in compliance with all environmental permit

15  requirements imposed by the appropriate permitting entities.

16         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

17  law.
