11  The Committee on Regulated Services offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, line 13, of the bill

15

16  insert:

17         Section 2.  Upon repeal of Chapter 55-31098, Laws of

18  Florida, new alcoholic beverage licenses for the City of

19  Orlando and the unincorporated areas of Orange County shall be

20  issued in accordance with general law.  Further:

21         (1)  the repeal of Chapter 55-31098 shall in no manner

22  affect, amend or nullify any license issued under the

23  provisions of that act, except that restrictions on the

24  relocation of licenses issued subject to the population

25  limitation, created as a result of different quota ratios

26  within the county, are removed as long as such relocation is

27  in compliance with general law and all applicable local

28  ordinances and regulations.

29         (2)  any application for licensure pursuant to Chapter

30  55-31098 which is filed with the Division of Alcoholic

31  Beverages and Tobacco prior to the effective date of this act,

 1  shall not be affected by the repeal and the division is

 2  authorized to issue such license if all other requirements of

 3  the Beverage Law are met.
