12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 2 between lines 29 and 30,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 2.  Subsection (2) of section 18 of chapter

19  97-384, Laws of Florida, is amended to read:

20         Section 18.  The Florida Teachers Lead Program

21  established.--

22         (2)  Notwithstanding any other law or any State Board

23  of Education rule to the contrary, each school district shall

24  distribute the Florida Teachers Lead Program funds to each

25  classroom teacher to be expended at the discretion of that

26  teacher to assist teaching and learning in the classroom. The

27  Florida Teachers Lead Program funds shall be deposited into

28  each school's internal account and made available to be

29  expended at the discretion of each classroom teacher to assist

30  teaching and learning in the classroom. Each teacher's

31  allocation shall remain available for the teacher's use until
