14         On page 2, line 10, of the bill

16  after the period insert:

17  Furthermore, the 12-year statute of repose specified herein

18  shall not apply to any aircraft other than general aviation

19  aircraft as defined in Title 49, Section 40101, United States

20  Code, and, in the case of such aircraft to which the federal

21  law does not apply, the period of repose under this section

22  will be 18 years.
