18 (2) The defendant shall be permitted to introduce and
19 the jury may consider evidence of previous punitive damages
20 awards against a defendant, as well as evidence that the
21 alleged defect or course of conduct has been remedied by way
22 of recall, redesign, satisfactory warning, or by other means
23 satisfactory to the court, in mitigation of the amount of
24 punitive damages to be awarded.
